This was such a fun day so I had to document it! It poured rain one day and Vic decided the kids needed to go get rid of some energy outside by stomping in puddles. So, we did! Everly had not worn rubber boots before and didn't really know what to do until Vic made her jump in some puddles and then away she went. The big kids spent over an hour floating things down the side of the street (sticks, leaves, anything) until it went into the drainage area. Everly liked this too. They played until it started to rain again. It was just a fun afternoon!

They were all wet by the time we went inside, but Everly sat right down in the water and even in the path the kids were putting things down in the water. She was a mess!
My cute little family! Again - I love the busy-ness of our lives, but I LOVE the times like this the most.
