Christmas plans were a little different this year because with Vic's new job, he doesn't get the same holidays as we were used to. However, it turned out great because instead of traveling for 10 days straight, we were still able to see both sides of our families and get to spend time at home for a true vacation. The weekend before Christmas we were able to spend some holiday time in Orange Grove. Saturday was spent visiting, eating a tasty lunch of Fish Tacos and then opening gifts. As usual, the Seidels were so good to us with a new vacuum (desperately needed), Food Sealer, jewelry, lottery tickets, bath and body works (for me, not Vic! haha), and most excitingly a brand new camera with all accessories! I have had my camera for the last 3 years and though it has been great, it is getting tired. Sometimes it just freezes and it doesn't take as good pictures anymore. So, needless to say, I was in need of one! Well, Vic bought it but Jill picked it out and it is great - 12.1 pixels! Below you will see some Seidel family pictures taken on Sunday, the day we attended Vic's grandparents, Pa and Granny Liz's, Church for the Christmas Cantata. It was a fast-paced, but very nice weekend celebrating Christmas with Vic's family!

After a few more days of work, we then drove to Sanger for the next weekend. We arrived on Christmas Eve just as it was starting to snow! We thought it was just going to snow and not stick, but sure enough as the afternoon and evening wore on, it continued to stick to the ground. On Christmas morning, we woke up to an extremely cold, snow-covered winter wonderland! Once the roads were a little safer, my parents and siblings came over to my grandparents and aunt's house (where Vic and I had stayed). We had a great day of playing games, eating delicious treats and food, opening gifts, reading the Christmas story, and building a snowman! See below for some pictures!

And Christmas Day...

The beautiful Christmas tree with way too many gifts...

Charley and GG on Christmas morning!

Every year GG buys us Christmas pajamas to open on Christmas Eve....had to model them of course!

Once we went out to make a snowman, we realized the snow was not great for packing. So, we couldn't seem to make actual snowballs big enough to make a snowman. So, Vic found a 5 gallon bucket and created our snowman that way! It was a lot of fun and then of course, we had to take pictures with everyone in them because it was such a great snowman!

Even Melbo and Pa came out so they could have a picture with the snowman!

The boys playing 42!
Overall, it was a great Christmas break for us. The day after Christmas, we went to my parents house and played games from 11am to 9pm! Everything from Monopoly to Spoons to Skip-Bo to Chickenfoot! And, on Sunday before we left, we got to eat lunch with Stormy and Tabatha! It was just a great 4 days!
Not nitpicking Sarah just trying to keep you honest. Your camera is 12.1 megapixels not just pixels. Mega meaning million. Pictures with only 12.1 pixels would look horrible. Lol. Glad you got a new one so you can continue to take awesome pics for the blog. Love me some seidels!
