To break up one really super excruciatingly long blog post, I decided to split "the end of 2010" into 2 posts, so we will continue...
4. Vic won the FLAMINGO contest! During this time of year, the Texas A&M University System puts on the SECC (State Employee Charitable Campaign) to raise money for charities. Typically lots of fundraisers are held and TVMDL held a fun one! If you paid a dollar, you would send a "flamingo" to a specific person. The person with the most flamingos at the end won a prize (or actually lost, because they knew it would be some kind of embarrassing prize!). Well, one of Vic's co-workers really worked hard to get people to donate a dollar in favor of Vic! My mom even sent one in! He ended up winning...err...losing and his prize was having to parade through the lab on a Friday morning wearing a hula skirt, coconut bra, and carrying the flamingo! I even snuck over to watch him...he had no idea until he showed up for a "meeting" of what was happening!
5. Ag Program Girls Reunion - Every year, we try to get the Ag Program Girls together at some point...whether it be a wedding, a trip to DC, or usually at least one Aggie Football game! This year, Lauren came in from DC, Darcee from South /West Texas, and Katerina and I from good ole College Station! We missed our friend Taylor, as she was in DC, but it was still great to get together and see the girls for a quick evening visit and meal at...you guessed it - Casa Ole! Casa Ole was the place we spent many a night during college drinking $1.50 margaritas....

6. 3 pregnant ladies and their men in one weekend! In November, we reunited the Huey, Seidel & Powell families for a weekend in College Station. While I took hardly any pictures, we did have a great time catching up. The last time all 3 couples were together was in May 2009 at Port Aransas. And this time all 3 girls were pregnant! It was so much fun and probably the last time we will get to host them in our house because next time we see one another, we will all have at least one baby (and the Huey's will have 2 kiddos!) plus 3 of everything a baby needs when they travel! I have to say that one of the funniest times of the weekend occurred Friday night when the guys went to the store to try to find something that every person could eat (remember - THREE pregnant girls) and while they came home with fajita fixings, they also had Starbursts, an Icee, and Popsicles! What a random combination of cravings for the girls! OH! And this was the weekend we BTHO OU! I did get one cute picture of Haley - 14 months:
7. Las Vegas Trip - December 9-12, we took a quick trip to Las Vegas to visit friends and get away for a couple of days. Not only were our friends Joe & Cassie there, but also my college roommates and spouses (Stormy, Tab, Clint, Gena, and Casey)! So, we had a really fast trip of visiting, a little gambling (No we did not win a penny) and fun food! Since everyone left Saturday night and Vic and I were there until Sunday, we even got to see Terry Fator's show at the Mirage. He is a ventriloquist that won America's Got Talent and he put on a great, clean, funny show! We also stayed at the Mirage and even ate at one of Emeril's restaurants.
8. Christmas - we had a pretty quick running around for Christmas this year too. We actually put up a mini tree at hour house and did little decorating since most of our December was spent elsewhere. We spent the weekend before Christmas in Sanger with my family. And then the weekend of Christmas in Orange Grove with Vic's family. Then, we rushed back to pack for London (detailed blogs to come about London). So, it was a whirlwind, but as always, nice to be with our families! Plus, this is the last Christmas we'll have without a little Erwin/Seidel running around. Next year will be very different!

We hope everyone had a wonderful 2010 and are ready for a great 2011!
