This fall, Atticus played his first season of machine pitch fall ball. He was on the Knights and ironically, had the same color jersey as T-ball. When we signed up, I really thought he needed another season of T-ball, since he had only played one season, but we were told that whatever he was going to play in the spring, he should also play the fall before. So, he did and I'm glad he did. It was great experience for the spring. It was different though! Most of the boys were older and threw harder, ran faster, knew more about the game. It was really good for him to do this. And, I was curious how hitting off the machine would go, but he did great and had lots of hits during the season. Fall ball was much calmer than spring ball; only Tuesday/Thursdays each week and while they didn't get in any practices after the first couple of weeks, it was nice to not be as busy in the spring, although I wondered if starting evening activities as soon as school started would be a good idea. I think it was okay, but he was still tired and by the end of the season, I think we were all ready for a little break. They started in September and played until early-November. They didn't win a lot of games, but Atticus had fun, especially with Greer on his team!

Playing catcher is tough and he didn't really have any practice before playing, but always wanted to put on the gear and be catcher.
GG even made it to his last game. The season started out pretty hot in September, but by the time we got to the end, it was cold at night!
Me and my girl with her "ear gloves". Oh Grace!
I love this little baseball player!
His team; his coach was Andy Thorne and I really have no idea all of the other kids! I forget those names so quickly!
Crazy boys!
We ran into Brody & Briggs one night after a game; they are in Atticus's class at school!
