Books of the week

So, although Atticus is not allowed any paper books right now, he still enjoys his bedtime board books. As of the last couple of weeks, he has really enjoyed those below. Curious George and the Bunny actually belongs to Grace. But, since Grace is too young to argue with him, Atticus tends to think all toys he wants in this house are his. He loves Sesame Street and these came from his first Easter basket. Jesus Is With Me is a new one. That's Not My Pony has a series of these with lots of animals and is published by Usborne Books. I have really enjoyed Usborne Books - make great gifts too! Where is Baby's Valentine was obviously from Valentines Day but he just now wants to read it all the time. It is actually a large flap book that didn't get put away the first time, but so far he is taking care of it. And, finally, the biggest favorite right now is Otis. Molly brought this book when she came a couple of weeks ago. It is so cute. It's all about a tractor and a calf who are friends. I love love love this one and there is nothing cuter than for Atticus to say "Mama Veed Otis". We read books twice a day, each time before we nap and go to bed and although he is a major staller and doesn't want to get into bed, he loves to be read to. And, then of course, he stalls some more because he doesn't want the reading to stop. What a funny boy he is!
