Well, as Vic said, with every new kid, it takes another day longer to get our Christmas decorating complete. This tree was put up on Saturday, but not decorated until Monday night. It's always fun to decorate and Atticus and Grace were so excited. It started off ok, but we have lots of ornaments that are breakable and lots of little fingers who "can do it by themselves" and "will be so careful". So, while the evening started good, it ended early and Vic and I finished after kids were in bed. It is super fun to see the kids remember certain ornaments though. And this was Grace's first year to really help us put them on the tree. But, do you know what we have already realized with Grace? She likes to take them off to play with them and incorporate them into her setups. A little while into decorating, we see a pile she called "my collection" of ornaments she was saving to play with instead of put on the tree. That girl! And, honestly, it doesn't bother me at all that she plays with the non-breakable ones here and there, but she's not great at putting them back. And Everly has decided to army crawl in the last couple of days and she can inch her way to whatever is left lying around. So, we will see how the tree holds up this year! But, it is fun to finally have everything decorated! I'll have to do a post of just our indoor decorations too! Here are some quick pics.

This describes our days perfectly. Always pestering one another somehow! :)
When did he grow up?
This Fisher Price nativity might be my favorite Christmas toy! But, it has a short in it, so poor Everly doesn't get much of the Christmas song. Might be time for a new one next year!
Clearly, Everly was our biggest helper! This time next year, we will be saying lots of "no don't touch" to this little thing!
