Christmas Eve and a stomach bug

Christmas Eve was different this year than past year's. We got back from Sanger the night before and had plans for our normal church service on Christmas Eve afternoon. However, as the day wore on, we just didn't feel like getting it together to attend. In year's past, we always attended the 5pm service at OSLC and it always put us with tired kids that evening. Last year, at FBC Bryan, Christmas Eve was on Sunday so we went to church that morning for the service and it was so nice not having to get kids back out that evening. With 4 kids and two needing afternoon naps, we just decided not to attend. We definitely missed the festivity of a Christmas Eve service. However, when Everly ended up throwing up at 4pm that afternoon (and beginning a week long stomach bug), we decided it was meant to be to feel that way that day! So, we stayed in pajamas, watched the Santa tracker online, ate breakfast for dinner, drove around to look at Christmas lights (this was when we thought Everly's sickness was a one-time event), left food out for the reindeer and headed to bed.

Nursing pictures are a little weird, but I LOVE nursing my babies and we had never had a baby this young at Christmas before, so I especially loved the tiny baby snuggles this year.
We had to watch White Christmas, of course!
Oh my tiny little Hazel, I love you!
We also loved checking out the lights! https://youtu.be/0Ln0q3xux_A
Everly never eats carrots...until we wanted to leave them out for Rudolph and the reindeer.
And we set out cookies for Santa: - https://youtu.be/pQJcFSVjENU
Merry Christmas Eve!
