Olympics
We have been obsessed with the Olympics since we got home. They play almost all day on TV even though most of the good stuff isn't shown until the evenings. The kids are so funny when they watch; Grace told me she was doing her "triple flips" and then does some rolling around on the ground. Atticus was racing around the kitchen and jumping over a lego box last night to practice his hurdles. And the funniest thing about that? He told us those "olympiads"on TV had not ever jumped over hurdles like he did. He was serious. Also, Atticus LOVES to watch for Usain Bolt and so many times, he will see someone in a green or yellow jersey and say "is that Bolt?" When someone talks about Jamaica, he says "Bolt is from Jamaica!" So, we have tried to show Atticus every single time Bolt has run. He is also into the American Flag, although he gets it confused with others. But, he always wants to know if America is winning, or if Bolt is winning. So, we love the Olympics. And Vic and I actually do love the stories, remembering the rules, figuring out the stats, etc. I'll be sad when they are over!
