Christmas Break: Central Park Lights, Dress Up, & a Gingerbread House

On Wednesday, the 21st, the kids woke up happy for more Christmas Break! They were up earlier than me and by the time I got up, they had been playing in the dress up box! They had anything and everything on! And Grace always has a pose and needs to check herself out in the mirror!
Later, while they ate breakfast, I asked them to show me how it felt to be on Christmas Break and this was their excited poses!
A little later, we decorated a Gingerbread House. This is fun, but usually means they want to eat as much as they decorate with. But, they were creative and had fun!
After the day, we met Vic for dinner right after work at Fuzzy's Tacos. We love that place. Did you know we ordered food for all 5 of us, plus an appetizer of queso, plus a margarita for Vic and it cost us $29. Imagine if we skipped the queso, made Everly eat off our plates and skipped the margarita. We could get out of there for $20 or less! Also, Mexican food is so easy and there is not wait service. For all of these reasons, this place gets an A+. Anyways, we ate dinner and then as soon as it was dark, we went to Central Park to look at lights. It is decorated by the City of College Station and it is...free! We got out, walked through the lights where the kids sang Rudolph and ran and played, and had a great time. It was cold enough to need jackets and feel wintry and festive, but not so cold that we had to worry about Everly or be miserable. Then, we got back in the car, drove to the house where Vic dropped off his truck and got in with us. We drove over to the house in Pebble Creek that has songs that play to the light show on the house. It was really fun! The kids love getting unbuckled while we watch and it's just fun to see. So, that was a really fun night!
