Atticus & Daddy

Since we have come home, Atticus & Daddy have spent more time together since Grace and I spend most of our time together nursing and because while recovering from a c-section, I can't lift him or get on the floor to play with him. Also, GG has been here to help with Grace and cooking and cleaning and being the nursery at night. So, Atticus has gotten special attention from her too. 

This past Saturday, after a lunch date to Chic-Fil-A with GG, Atticus and Daddy spent the afternoon outside playing with trucks and chalk and toys and visiting with the neighbors who also gave Atticus his first sucker. Sunday, Atticus & Daddy had a lunch date to Freebirds (where Atticus ate mostly queso and chips and rice) and took a trip to Lowe's. Daddy has also taken Atticus to school and picked him up each day, which is something I usually do. And they have spent time together each evening. Tonight they spread some dirt in the yard and played in the truck for awhile. It is nice because Vic has taken the entire week off to help take care of all of us, so he has had a little more time to relax and spend time with Atticus. I have loved watching them spend so much time together! Here's a few pics from this past week.
