We loved puppy chow at Christmas this year....seeing Atticus' face when we gave it to him in his high chair was so funny!
We really love playing with animals and looking at animal books and saying animal sounds. So, this farm set is one of our favorite toys. In fact, Atticus can sit with it for a long time loading the silo with all little toys and then opening the door and unloading them; loading and unloading over and over. It's pretty funny! Also, sometimes when we play with the animals and put them in the barn, we make them go night night and lay down to sleep. And one day, while I was pretending with him, I told the animals to "stay right there" in the barn. Well, Atticus translated that to "no-no" and tells his animals that all the time now.
We have started climbing a little more lately. Atticus has not really been a climber up to this point; he always needs "hep" or help but recently can usually get on the couch or the chair. I just think this little picture is so cute!
This is me at 32 weeks pregnant. I have been bad about taking any pictures this time around. So, this may be the second one my entire pregnancy. And as you can see, Atticus is already still wanting plenty of attention even when we are trying to focus on the new baby!
We had our annual Martin Luther King Jr. weekend with the Veretts this year. This is one of my favorite weekends of the year that just happened to originate when we were in college with a big "DC intern" party at the Verett house when we all returned from DC. Vic and I had just started dating and just met the Veretts. Since that first year (2005), we have always celebrated it with at least one of the Veretts. But, the past few years, everyone comes down to College Station from all over the country so we can have a fun weekend. We do a lot of eating and visiting! It's the best! This year we missed Katerina, but also added Kristofer's girlfriend Katie!
This is just Atticus playing with more Christmas toys!
One of Atticus' new favorite things to do is get in the "ca" or "tuck" to play. So, we will go out to the car or truck, climb in and he plays with all of the buttons and radio and lights and windshield wipers, etc. We sometimes stay in there for 30 minutes. He just thinks it is so fun!
