December 24th: Christmas Eve

I won't go into too many details for Christmas, since I'm blogging this so late and just back-dating it! But, we had a good Christmas here in town. We did not have to travel the weekend before, so it allowed us to just rest at the house and enjoy being here during the holidays. On Christmas Eve, Vic took Atticus for a guy's day, which started with a couple of hours at the office for Atticus to play and watch movies and then do some last minute shopping and lunch. Grace and I had a "gu-ulls" day baking some sugar cookies and spending time together. She would say over and over  in a deep voice..."Ho Ho Ho, Merry Chipmas!" We went to the Christmas Eve service at church at 4pm and actually made it through the entire service, although both kids were tired/ready for Christmas/aggravating each other so we were glad to just survive. That evening, our friend, Katie, came over to eat dinner. It was really late by the time we got kids to bed. We set out cookies for Santa, put out reindeer food in the front yard, read some Christmas books, and they went to sleep. The funniest part was when Vic got some large carrots out to give to the reindeer and Grace just ate them. 2 of them! She was so funny!
Here's a few pictures of that day...
